Barnwood planks
Are you familiar with the old barns, farms and mountain cabins of the Alps? Then we won’t have to explain to you the beauty of the wood they are made of. When these old buildings are dismantled, the planks that have served as facade cladding are removed. These so-called barnwood planks have beautiful grooves due to extreme weather influences. Moreover, the years of exposure to sunlight have created a unique shade of colours. For this reason, these barnwood planks are also known as ”Sonnengebrannt”. Because the Alpine region is home to many pine trees, these planks are mainly made of this coniferous wood species. Our collection also includes oak barnwood boards, click here for more information.
Just as the diversity in look of barnwood planks, its applications are also very diverse. For example, you can use them as flooring, wall cladding or as a sliding door. Brown, grey, square edged, unedged, narrow, wide, with or without tongue and groove, we have them all. To make it easy to find your favourite planks, they are sorted by size and look. Moreover, you will have the opportunity to select them yourself.
